Notes 10/4/14

-Areas that will be used, lecture theatre, space, 415, 418, 411, 413, hallways, green space, turning circle, court yard.
-Creating immersive theatre experience. It will be audience led, the audience will be free to roam.
-audience wearing surgical masks, set must be detailed, site, sound, smell, touch.
-Projected images, live video, lighting, smoke
-Audience is the story teller.
-Fully interactive sets; worlds

-Room 101 tools for torture: electrodes, torture handbook, sounds of other rooms.
-418, Winston's home: his diary, half eaten meal.
-413, Ministry food hall: live food being cooked. Pot of gruel, oats and water
-Not a linear narrative, actors bring the story to life for the audience
-415, O'Brians office: files, video evidence, thought criminals, digital doubles
-Space: used ocaisonaly, group hate room, exerts of footage showing rebels
-Lecture theatre: reception area, cold, bussiness like.
-Audience are government officials visiting district 1
-Militaristic presence
-weapons, costume , ear pieces, strong, secure presence
-Forced labour camps called joy camps double think, ministry of think
-Enlist audience members, building force of rebellion - take part in rebellion.
-Actors may play more than one character
